Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Senior Laboratory Information Application Support Specialist to maintain and optimize LIS/LIMS systems in a regulated environment. You will manage uptime, user access, data transmission, and interface with EHRs, working with IT and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities include leading CSV validation efforts, IQ/OQ/PQ protocol execution, SOP authoring, and guiding training for clinicians and staff while mentoring the application development team on workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five+ years hands-on experience supporting clinical LIS or LIMS.
• Experience with HL7, interfaces, and TCP/IP data routing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime, user access, and stability for LIS/LIMS.
• Troubleshoot application bugs and data transmission failures.
• Manage the application support ticket queue and liaise with vendors.
• Configure analytical test profiles and HL7 interfaces to EHR.
• Lead CSV validation efforts and IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
• Develop SOPs and train staff; mentor IT teammates.
