Job summary
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to design, build, monitor and maintain our complex multi-cloud and on-prem distributed systems, with a focus on a scalable S3-compatible object store spanning thousands of Linux servers. You will lead cross-functional projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive improvements to tooling and processes to forecast growth and ensure SLAs.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux internals, kernel tuning, storage I/O and automation is required,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong Linux internals and kernel I/O knowledge.
- Experience with on-premise storage and AWS S3-compatible object storage.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain multi-cloud and on-prem distributed systems.
- Lead complex technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
- Automate tasks with Chef or Ansible and optimize storage subsystems.
