Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Compliance Director to lead the compliance team across LIHTC and HUD programs. This corporate role ensures adherence to tax-credit rules, oversees audits, and reviews reports to city and monitoring agencies.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of LIHTC experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks with precision. Travel may be required to support properties within a region.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of LIHTC or Section 42 paperwork experience.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, 202/811 programs.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance team and perform compliance duties.
• Interpret regulatory agreements and prepare reports.
• Generate/approve Rent Schedules and audits.
• Review move-ins and denials for accuracy.
• Monitor Affordable housing programs within a region.
• Ensure filings meet HUD/LIHTC requirements.
