Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC/HUD compliance across properties. The role involves coordinating with on-site and corporate staff, performing audits, and maintaining compliance documentation.

The position requires 1–2 years of LIHTC compliance experience, knowledge of HUD programs, and the ability to train staff on compliance procedures. Travel is required based on business needs, with a full-time on-site work arrangement and benefits.

Qualificações

• 1-2 years of on-site or compliance experience processing LIHTC (Section 42) cert. paperwork.
• Proven experience with HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811 programs is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, properties, and supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory LIHTC compliance.
• Travel as needed based on business requirements.
• Conduct audits and implement corrective actions.
• Provide admin support including data entry into compliance systems and file maintenance.
• Deliver ongoing training on LIHTC, Fair housing, and related procedures.
• Process commissions for move-ins and re-certifications.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agency on compliance matters.
• Assist in mass recertifications, re-syndication, and lease-ups as required.
• Review property management data for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure appropriate 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA unit allocation per property.
