Job summary

Wesco seeks a Senior Technical Sales Specialist - Lighting to lead the commercial and technical decisions for large lighting projects. You will provide pre- and post-sales support, deliver product demonstrations, and serve as a domain expert in lighting solutions.

Aligned with sales teams, you will identify opportunities, present technical information, and drive growth across markets while maintaining strong vendor relationships and ongoing product launches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Electrical industry experience as a manufacturer or distributor.
• 5+ year Sales experience in related industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to travel 25% - 50%.

Responsibilities

• Calls on client, management and representatives to promote technical products or services.
• Provides technical services to clients related to specified products.
• Gathers, analyzes and shares technical information with internal and external customers.
• First line pre/post technical sales support for sales teams.
• Leads joint sales calls with customers and prospects.
• Participates in ongoing training to maintain technical competency.
