Job summary

Schrödinger is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Life Sciences Sales team in Boston, MA. You will own the full sales cycle for biotech accounts, engaging with R&D, IT, and senior leaders to drive growth and deliver value through our digital chemistry platform.

You’ll develop account plans, build relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborate with Applications Scientists, Deployment Managers, Solution Architects, and Product Managers to close high-impact deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• An understanding of the drug discovery process.
• At least five years of experience selling complex scientific software solutions, with a track record of exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and close new software and services opportunities in your territory
• Create and implement effective strategies to increase revenue in your territory and ensure the accomplishment of business objectives
• Manage all engagements with assigned accounts, including coordination with cross-functional teams
• Maintain accurate sales forecast reporting and client activity tracking in Salesforce
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at your accounts
• Provide client feedback and market insights to internal product managers and scientific support team members
