Job summary

TAI is seeking a Division Manager for Process Engineering - Life Sciences. You will lead a skilled team of engineers and designers, guide complex project delivery, and steer strategic growth of the Life Sciences division for pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

You will oversee divisional operations, ensure GMP compliance, and drive staff development while maintaining client relationships and pursuing new opportunities across projects and site designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree in biotechnology or related field preferred.
• Professional Engineering licensure (PE) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 13 years of process engineering experience in life sciences/pharma.
• Minimum 5 years of design experience in a consulting engineering firm.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, equipment and piping specs.
• Ability to act as SME for life sciences process/utility systems.
• Knowledge of pharma process validation and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee divisional operations, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
• Provide strong leadership and deep process life sciences and GMP process engineering knowledge.
• Drive staff engagement, mentoring, and career growth.
• Ensure quality, budget, and schedule performance of divisional operations.
• Develop and manage business opportunities in pharmaceutical manufacturing and facility design.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate cross-divisional collaboration.
• Support commissioning/qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) as needed.
