TAI is seeking a Senior Process (Utilities) Engineer/SME to lead design and coordination of process utility systems supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology operations. You will develop technical specifications, perform engineering studies, oversee design packages, and collaborate across disciplines to drive projects from concept to implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
• 8+ years of process design engineering experience.
• 3+ years in Pharma/Biotech/Life Science.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Project Technical Requirements Specification for all systems specifying performance requirements & applicable client Standards.
• Research applicable industry standards, prepare engineering studies, analysis of systems, preliminary and detailed process engineering designs.
• Develop engineering specifications and project cost estimates.
• Review work of project design team, check progress of work and alert managers to change of scope and additional services.
• Coordinate most aspects of project document completion.
• Direct CAD designers for the preparation of construction drawings.
• Interpret and apply applicable codes.
• Independently work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to codes is required.
• Coordinate project design with other engineering disciplines.
