Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group in Pasadena, CA seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead capital projects across pharma, biotech and industrial operations.

You will oversee MEP design/bid/build, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships, and collaborate with engineers, architects and construction teams. Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of PM/engineering experience, BS in mechanical/civil/structural/architectural engineering, and PE or RA licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of project management and engineering experience on capital projects.
• Experience with facility systems including clean rooms, utilities, and process systems.
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device projects preferred.
• BS in mechanical, civil, structural, or architectural engineering; professional licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility MEP design/bid/build projects for pharma, biotech, advanced technology, and other industrial operations.
• Lead project and design efforts from concept through start-up.
• Oversee the preparation of plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, designers, and other professionals.
• Facilitate site, building, and infrastructure design and construction; solve design problems.
• Manage client communications and expectations throughout the project.
• Coordinate with AHJs and ensure building code compliance.
