Barry-Wehmiller is seeking a Construction Senior Project Manager in the Pasadena area to lead industrial projects in food, beverage, and life sciences sectors. You will partner with in-house design teams and engineers to drive planning, scheduling, budgets, and performance against contracts.

The role requires at least 12 years in construction, 8+ years as a construction manager for industrial structures, and willingness to travel up to 50% with relocation support for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in construction roles (project engineer, site superintendent, CPM)
• 8+ years as construction manager with industrial structures experience
• Experience with industrial projects in food, beverage, consumer products, pharma or related industries
• Experience with A&E design-build firms (preferred)
• Ability to read P&IDs and understand process systems
• Proven bid/tender management and contractor negotiation
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and relocate if needed
• OSHA 10/30 certification; construction PM certification (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Manage construction projects in food, beverage, and life sciences sectors in collaboration with in-house design teams and engineers
• Oversee project execution from inception to close-out including planning, scheduling, budgets, and resources
• Generate monthly project control reports and manage project risk
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and bid packages; review contracts for schedule conformance
• Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and regulatory standards; ensure safety, quality, and cost effectiveness
• Lead jobsite meetings and review subcontractor change requests; manage safety programs
