Datavant is seeking a Principal, Commercial Life Sciences Solutions to lead pre‑sales strategy for pharma customers and translate business needs into actionable data connectivity solutions. You’ll work with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Product, and Delivery teams to shape opportunities and drive value.

You’ll be deeply embedded with lifecycle analytics, market access, HEOR, and real‑world data use cases, advocating privacy‑preserving approaches and executive‑level storytelling to win and expand

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in life sciences and related fields.
• Experience supporting pre-sales, enterprise solutioning, or complex partnerships.
• Fluency in real-world data use cases including claims, EHR, and first-party data.
• Strong commercial instincts and ability to lead executive conversations.
• Ability to travel for strategic meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior pharma SME for pre-sales and opportunity development.
• Partner with sales, solutions consultants to shape conversations across analytics, market access, and digital use cases.
• Lead discovery with pharmaceutical customers to understand objectives and data assets.
• Translate goals into solution strategies using privacy-preserving data techniques.
• Design solution approaches for use cases like launch planning, market access evidence, and omnichannel measurement.
• Represent Datavant in executive workshops and industry forums.
