Job summary

Datavant seeks a Principal for Commercial Life Sciences Solutions to guide Life Sciences customers in designing and adopting high-value data connectivity solutions across commercial, medical, and real-world use cases.

You will partner with Sales, Solutions Consulting, Product, Partnerships, Customer Success, Privacy, Legal, and Delivery teams to shape strategy and translate needs into actionable Datavant solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical commercial strategy, commercial analytics, market access, or related fields.
Deep understanding of life sciences companies and data use across commercial, medical, analytics and evidence functions.
Experience supporting pre-sales, enterprise solutioning, or complex partnerships with pharmaceutical or healthcare customers.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior pharma subject matter expert for pre-sales solutioning and strategic opportunity development.
Shape customer conversations across commercial analytics, market access, patient services, healthcare marketing, and digital use cases.
Lead discovery with pharmaceutical customers to understand objectives, data assets, privacy requirements, and outcomes.
Translate customer goals into Datavant solution strategies using privacy-preserving linkage and data connectivity.
Design solution approaches for patient journey analytics, launch planning, and market access insights.
Build executive-ready narratives on business value, privacy posture, and implementation paths.
