Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for life sciences construction. The role focuses on cost management across planning, design, construction and closeout of major capital projects, including manufacturing and advanced technology facilities.

The candidate will lead cost estimation, cost planning, and change management, working with design teams, clients, and contractors in a client-facing capacity. On-site presence may be required to align with project needs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.
• Experience in manufacturing/life sciences/industrial/construction projects preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• On-site presence as required by client needs.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate and negotiate change orders through the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and present final cost plans.
• Review estimates with design teams and general contractors.
• Reconcile changes and ensure data accuracy for contractors.
• Prepare cost updates and executive summaries for submissions.
• Coordinate cost information from subs, engineers, and vendors.
• Lead cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances.
• Produce monthly cost reports for client presentations.
• Negotiate final accounts in a timely manner.
• Mentor and coach junior staff on best practices.
