Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to act as the key client interface, delivering a value-added cost management service. You will support a large life sciences campus expansion, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple phases and ensuring objectives are met with rigorous cost control.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, communicates effectively, and can lead cost management activities with minimal supervision while aligning with our purpose and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of cost management experience on medium to large construction projects.
• Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, industrial, or large capital projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and final cost plan; review with design teams and GC.
• Lead cost checks, valuations, and post-contract cost variances.
• Develop cost plans through design phases and support VE/VF exercises.
