Job summary

Veristat is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to lead the development and expansion of new business opportunities within established accounts and new clients. You will provide leadership for overall business planning and guide the sales process through contract closure in collaboration with Proposals and Contracts.

The role includes preparing project-specific client presentations with cross-functional teams and promoting Veristat’s capabilities to enhance visibility and credibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business, science, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience selling services in CRO/pharma/biotech/life sciences.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to deliver capabilities and sales presentations.
• Experience with proposal development, contract negotiation and closing a contract.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Prior Salesforce experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within established accounts and prospective clients.
• Lead the sales process through contract closure with Proposals and Contracts.
• Prepare and conduct project-specific client presentations with functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments to expand Veristat’s visibility and credibility in the market.
• Develop promotional materials to promote Veristat’s industry recognition.
