Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Illinois is seeking a Life Enrichment Program Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and implement a full life enrichment and volunteer program on campus, while maintaining on-site communications.

You will partner with the resident services director to create engaging activities, recruit volunteers, and coordinate events for residents and the community, ensuring programs meet Covenant Living standards.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience.
• Experience working with senior adults.
• Excellent communication, organization, creativity, problem solving and teamwork.
• Ability to train and mentor a team.
• Develop and schedule life enrichment programs aligned with residents' interests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the resident services director to plan and facilitate social and recreational programs.
• Coordinate structured activities and resident-led events.
• Escort off-campus events and ensure compliance with LifeConnect guidelines.
• Recruit, schedule, and coordinate volunteers for campus programs.
• Coordinate events with other departments, including townhall and resident council meetings.
• Update on-campus TV channel and other resident communications.
• Edit newsletters as needed.
• Stay current with trends in recreational programming for older adults.
• Update care plans and participate in care conferences when needed.
