Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC in Laurel, Maryland seeks a Life Enrichment Director to develop and implement meaningful programs across IL, AL, MC, promoting wellbeing for residents. You will plan monthly activities, meet new residents, coordinate volunteers, and manage the programming budget.

The role requires a Certified Dementia Practitioner or eligible, strong communication, organization, and leadership to support staff, families, and residents in a diverse senior living community.

Qualifications

• Qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional with recognized certification.
• Be a Certified Dementia Practitioner or eligible for certification.
• Maintain state dementia-specific training requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication with residents, families, staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement meaningful activity programs for IL/AL/MC.
• Plan monthly activities for all care levels.
• Meet each new resident to complete the Life Profile.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and supervise volunteers.
• Oversee programming budget and expenses.
• Represent the community professionally to residents, families, and staff.
