Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in planning and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents. You will promote physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being through engaging programs and events on-site.

The role requires a high school diploma and 6–12 months of experience with seniors, plus proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading life enrichment activities preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Able to maintain composure in stressful situations and treat residents with respect and dignity.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with group and individual activities, exercise, and outings.
• Facilitate games, conversations, and events.
• Assist in coordinating the monthly newsletter.
• Encourage participation and document outcomes as required.
• Review goals and progress notes.
• Assist in decorating for events and seasonal celebrations.
• Support coordination of external trips and resident safety during outings.
