Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Sr Manager to lead the Franchise Finance Licensing Operations team in El Segundo, CA. You will own day-to-day project governance, support, and system enhancements for licensing platforms including RightsLogic, MyMediaBox and Malibu.

You will manage cross-functional initiatives, coordinate with vendors, and drive timelines, budgets, and testing. Strong leadership, accounting knowledge, and licensing domain experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience with data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Prior project management experience required.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects or programs with multiple business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
• General knowledge of accounting practices preferred.
• Experience with financial data, financial operations, royalty systems, or close processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of Media, Licensing or Consumer Products is helpful.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong business software application knowledge.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and document specifications for enhancement of Mattel Systems.
• Manage implementation projects for new businesses and enhancements; gather requirements and collaborate with vendors; write Use Cases and Test Scripts.
• Oversee testing of new releases and approve release to end users; manage budget approval processes.
• Lead planning, coordination and execution of projects with clear timelines and communication.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly system close processes.
• Oversee system integrations and resolutions until completion.
• Provide ongoing support to clients; document ownership and service expectations.
• Identify recurring pain points and recommend process or policy improvements.
