Job summary

Mattel, a leading global toy and family entertainment company, seeks a Sr Manager to join the Franchise Finance Licensing Operations team in El Segundo, CA. You will own day-to-day project governance and support for Licensing Systems (RightsLogic, MyMediaBox and Malibu) and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

You will lead system enhancements, manage implementations, oversee monthly closes, drive process improvements, mentor one associate manager, and ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience with data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• General knowledge of accounting practices preferred.
• Experience with financial data, royalty systems, or close processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of Media, Licensing or Consumer Products is helpful.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong business software application knowledge.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and document specifications for enhancement of Mattel Systems.
• Manage implementation projects including requirements collection and vendor collaboration.
• Lead planning, coordination and execution with focus on timelines and communication.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly system close process.
• Oversee system integrations and resolve failures until completion.
• Provide ongoing support to clients with troubleshooting and long-term solutions.
• Prepare training documentation and lead webinars for internal and external Licensees.
