Job summary

BDA, LLC is seeking a Sr. Licensing Manager to lead the licensing function, manage end-to-end approvals, and drive royalty reporting and audits.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and ability to navigate complex guidelines across multiple properties. The position includes hybrid work with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, and candidates must be within commuting distance of BDA offices in Atlanta or other listed locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in process and organizational development.
• 10+ years of marketing or operations experience.
• 11+ years of data entry experience.
• 8+ years of financial experience.
• 3+ years of proven people management and development experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the licensing approval request process, setting standards for accuracy and turnaround.
• Lead partnership with Finance on monthly and quarterly royalty reporting and audits; drive coaching and training.
• Serve as senior subject matter expert on licensor guidelines and reference materials; advise leadership on complex scenarios.
• Own licensor relationships; lead weekly calls and act as escalation point for licensors.
• Oversee contract and manufacturer agreement compliance; support renewals with appropriate departments.
• Assess, analyze, and evolve processes to increase results and ease of approval workflows; lead cross-functional improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports; set priorities and performance expectations for the licensing team.
