Job summary

BDA, LLC is seeking a Sr. Licensing Manager to lead the licensing function, own the approvals workflow end-to-end, and manage monthly royalty reporting. You will coach a team, oversee licensor relationships, and ensure contract and manufacturer agreement compliance.

This role combines strategic planning with detailed financial work, including audits and partnership with Finance. A hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 remote) is required, with residency near one of BDA's U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in process and organizational development.
• 10+ years of marketing or operations experience.
• 11+ years of data entry experience.
• 8+ years of financial experience.
• 3+ years of proven people management and development experience.
• Proven record of managing analytical detail.
• Prior experience with ad specialty, advertising, or promotions industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the licensing approval request process, setting standards for accuracy and turnaround.
• Lead partnership with Finance on monthly/quarterly royalty reporting and audits.
• Serve as senior SME on licensor guidelines and resolve escalated issues.
• Own licensor relationships and lead weekly calls with licensors.
• Oversee contract and manufacturer agreement compliance and renewals.
• Assess, analyze, and evolve processes to increase results and ease of process.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports with clear priorities.
