Job summary

TerraPower in Rockville, MD seeks a Licensing Manager to lead the Natrium licensing effort, manage NRC engagements, and coordinate with engineering and project teams. You will oversee a distributed group of licensing engineers, ensure regulatory compliance for 10 CFR 50 licensing, and drive strategy to support project milestones.

The role requires 8+ years in nuclear licensing, 2+ years leading teams, and a strong QA mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the nuclear industry.
• 2+ years of new or advanced reactor licensing or oversight.
• 2+ years of supervisory or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of on-going licensing activities.
• Accountable for quality and timely licensing documents, including a Construction Permit Application or Operating License Application.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to respond to NRC audit questions and requests for additional information.
• Ensure designs and design changes meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee licensing documentation in compliance with regulations and QA standards.
• Interface with TerraPower teams and partners.
• Develop licensing strategies to support project goals.
