• Master's degree in history, humanities, library science or a related field.
• Three (3) years of archival experience in a library, museum, or related setting, including two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Professional certification as an Archivist through the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and manages schedules to ensure coverage.
• Organizes, preserves, and describes archival collections, including finding aids and reference materials.
• Develops and monitors unit budget and coordinates expenditures for staff, supplies, and services.
• Provides research assistance and training to staff and patrons; prepares reports on activities.
