Job summary

Troon Golf, L.L.C. seeks a Liability Claims Manager to oversee non-employment liability claims from first notice to resolution, reporting to the Executive VP & General Counsel.

You will manage outside counsel, set claim strategy, and maintain reserves to protect Troon's financial interests. This role requires disciplined follow-through, sound judgment, and timely communication with leadership on claim status, exposure, and next steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; professional credentials are a plus.
• Five+ years in claims management or related field.
• Experience managing outside counsel and litigation strategy.
• Knowledge of general liability, property, auto insurance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee non-employment liability claims from initial reporting through closure, with outside counsel.
• Direct outside litigation strategy, control legal spend, and drive to favorable resolutions.
• Set and maintain claim reserves reflecting exposure and adjust as matters develop.
• Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators on tenders and coverage.
• Provide clear reporting to General Counsel and leadership on status, reserves, and outcomes.
• Support incident response and evidence preservation for serious claims.
