Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site service and repair of facility and equipment. The role requires reading prints, following PMs, and meeting repair-time targets in a team environment.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED with relevant maintenance experience, plus knowledge of CMMS, electrical/mechanical systems, and strong communication skills. OSHA/EPA safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3+ years maintenance experience or 5+ years in a related field or 2-year tech school with 3+ years experience.
• Journeyman’s Card from an accredited apprenticeship program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of equipment.
• Meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times.
• Collaborates with other departments and follows safet y practices.
• May train other employees or fill in as Team Lead when needed.
• Read electrical and mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
