Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee on-site maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds in a safe, cost-efficient manner. You will plan headcount and schedules for Technicians under supervision, mentor junior technicians, and read schematics for repairs.

The role requires strong reading of prints, electrical and vacuum troubleshooting, and documenting work orders in Oracle. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and 5–10 years of maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-year technical school in electrical and maintenance field preferred.
• 3-year associate degree or equivalent program in a technical discipline preferred.
• Leadership or previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and plans daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
• Performs the on-site service and repair of process equipment, maintenance of the facility and communicates parts inventory levels.
• Troubleshoots and services all energy sources on all equipment and implements the preventative maintenance program.
• Interfaces with other departments and vendors.
• Follows standard OSHA, EPA and Company safe practices on all work assignments.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings.
• Responsible for the training of maintenance technicians
• Updates end of shift report.
