The candidate should have a high school diploma plus technical training or degree, 5–10 years of maintenance experience, and leadership skills to supervise and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-year technical school in electrical and maintenance field preferred.
• 3-year associate degree or equivalent program in a technical discipline preferred.
• 5-10 years' maintenance experience.
• 2 years' experience with degree in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Leadership or previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and plans daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
• Performs on-site service and repair of process equipment, maintenance of the facility and communicates parts inventory levels.
• Troubleshoots and services all energy sources on all equipment and implements the preventative maintenance program.
• Interfaces with other departments and vendors.
• Follows standard OSHA, EPA and Company safe practices on all work assignments.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings.
• Responsible for the training of maintenance technicians.
• Orders spare parts for daily or weekly activities.
• Performs other assignments as required from supervisor and manager.
• Updates end of shift report.
