Job summary

Altabank seeks a Senior Manager of Lending Operations to lead the Grove Creek Service Center. You will oversee loan documentation, closing, servicing, and construction draws, ensuring efficient workflows and strong internal/external service.

You will manage and coach staff, support audits and regulatory reviews, and drive process improvements with a focus on accuracy and accountability. A ten-year background in lending ops and a college degree are required.

Qualifications

• At least ten years similar or related experience.
• A college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee loan documentation, loan closing, loan servicing, construction draw and related operations.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to department managers and staff and resolve escalated issues.
• Coordinate with lending leadership, compliance, credit, retail, and other departments to maintain sound processes.
• Support internal and external audit responses, regulatory reviews, and remediation activities.
• Monitor performance, service levels, quality trends, and workload; implement improvements.
• Maintain employee files, conduct reviews, onboarding and escalations; approve time off for direct reports.
• Manage direct reports, including hiring, assignments, performance coaching, and compensation recommendations.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and bank policies applicable to Lending Operations.
• Support regulatory reporting such as HMDA, CRA, and Adverse Action.
• Adhere to Altabank Core Values and participate in community activities.
