Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Business Banking Closing Specialist who collaborates with Relationship Managers, borrowers, attorneys and title companies to move loan closings forward and ensure due diligence is complete.

You will coordinate a 30-45 day closing SLA, mentor junior staff, review commitment letters, and oversee documents and third-party reports while maintaining compliance and providing clear explanations to customers throughout the lending process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates interaction between multiple parties within the 30-45 day loan closing SLA.
• Prepares difficult loan commitment letters and application documents.
• Responsible for initial compliance and preparing the loan commitment package.
• Reviews commitment letters for accuracy and orders/handles third party reports.
• Mentors less experienced Loan Specialists and coordinates with all parties to establish closing date.
• Schedules closing and distributes documents; performs other duties as assigned.
