Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking a Senior Business Banking Closing Specialist. You will work with Relationship Managers, borrowers, sellers, attorneys, brokers, and underwriters to collect due diligence and streamline the loan closing process.

Responsibilities include coordinating closing dates, preparing commitment letters, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance and timely document distribution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and lending knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loan closing process within a 30-45 day SLA.
• Assist colleagues with difficult situations or customers.
• Prepare the more difficult loan commitment letters and application documents.
• Responsible for initial compliance and preparing the loan commitment package.
• Review commitment letters for accuracy.
• Order third-party reports and distribute to correct parties.
• Mentor less experienced Loan Specialists and coordinate closing.
• Schedule closings and arrange the distribution of documents.
