Kirkland & Ellis seeks a Legal Practice Technology Senior Analyst to support case teams through hands-on data management, databases, and advanced eDiscovery tools in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work with Relativity, Brainspace, and analytics to enhance deduplication, email threading, and predictive modeling, enabling precise discovery workflows.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; an associate degree combined with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years (preferred) in legal technology or eDiscovery support, ideally within an Am Law 100 firm or equivalent service provider.
  • Technical: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with leading eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Reveal), including database setup, search design, and workflow configuration.
  • Production & Processing: Strong knowledge of eDiscovery processing tools (Relativity, Nuix, LAW) and experience creating complex document productions.
  • Analytics: 1+ year using analytics tools (Relativity Analytics, Brainspace, NexLP) for ML-based review and quality control.
  • Programming: Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and scripting languages to convert and analyze data.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Ability to convey technical concepts clearly and meet stakeholder needs under tight timelines.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Certifications: RCA required; Brainspace Analyst Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data & Database Management: Process, convert, and manage ESI per case requirements.
  • Technical Execution: Create, configure, and administer Relativity workspaces, Brainspace environments, and other eDiscovery apps.
  • Quality & Compliance: QC data processing and production deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
  • Production Support: Generate load files, metadata, native/text files; ensure OCR and redaction quality.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve data loading and application issues for case teams.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Use Relativity Analytics and Brainspace to support deduplication, email threading, etc.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with PMs, Operations, and teams to meet deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to docs, training materials, and efficiency initiatives.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver trainings and brief leadership as requested.
