Job summary
Uniper seeks a pragmatic, business-oriented legal adviser to support renewable energy projects across the UK, including development, acquisition, construction and operation. You will draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and project documents, working with internal teams and external counterparties.
You will identify legal risks and provide commercially sound advice, collaborating with project development, commercial, procurement, regulatory and compliance teams
Qualifications
- Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Experience advising on EPC, O&M, ICP contracts.
- Strong understanding of UK energy regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice on renewable energy developments, acquisitions, construction and operation in the UK.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and project documentation.
- Identify and manage legal risks while enabling commercially sound outcomes.
- Collaborate with development, commercial, procurement, regulatory and compliance teams to support the project lifecycle.
- Manage external law firms including cost and quality oversight.
