Job summary

Navitas Resourcing Group seeks an experienced senior legal professional to support engineering, procurement, construction, and O&M activities across a renewable energy portfolio including solar, BESS, and wind projects. The role reports to the VP Legal and offers significant autonomy working with development, finance, and operations teams.

The candidate will draft and negotiate complex contracts, advise on risk and compliance, and may assist with M&A or broader corporate matters as needed.

Qualifications

• JD and active US bar license.
• 5+ years' experience drafting, negotiating, and administering EPC, procurement, and O&M agreements for utility-scale solar, BESS, and/or wind projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and administer EPC, procurement, and O&M agreements across solar, BESS, and wind portfolios.
• Advise project teams on contract risk, change orders, notices, claims, and dispute resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement strategy and risk allocation in major equipment and construction packages; structure warranties and performance guarantees.
• Advise on tariff and trade policy exposure within equipment supply contracts and related compliance matters.
• Manage outside counsel engagements and balance legal spend with business needs.
• Support project finance and tax equity counsel on construction-related conditions and lender requirements.
