Jobot is seeking a Senior Legal Biller for a permanent, full-time role in a fast-paced legal environment in Chicago. The candidate will handle complex law firm billing, including 3E system administration and e-billing processing, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of billings in a law firm, a related degree, and strong knowledge of billing options (hourly, fixed, retainer, other). Hybrid work options are available, with a competitive benefits package and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a billing specialist in a law firm.
• Direct, hands-on experience with the 3E billing system and e-billing/EDI processing.
• Knowledge of common law firm billing arrangements (hourly, flat fee, retainer, AFA) and how they're configured and billed.

Salary: $80,000 - $115,000 per year.

Job Details

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a billing specialist in a law firm.
• Direct, hands-on experience with the 3E billing system - plus familiarity with e-billing/EDI processing.
• Working knowledge of common law firm billing arrangements (hourly, flat fee, retainer, alternative fee arrangements) and how they're configured and billed.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex billing situations and exercise good judgment resolving them.
