Job summary

Tyson Foods in Shelbyville is seeking a Learning Specialist to lead new Team Member orientation and facilitate essential training programs across the site. You will coordinate code of conduct, well-being, lockout/tagout, forklift training support, and leadership development programs while engaging hourly Team Members.

You will also monitor feedback, coordinate interpreters when needed, and collaborate with HR, operations, and management to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; Bachelor's degree preferred in HR or related field.
• 2+ years professional experience; training/facilitation experience preferred.
• HR administrative skills preferred.
• Strong IT skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 1-5 domestic trips per year; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and continually improve classroom learning experience for Team Members.
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted correctly.
• Identify language barriers and assess the need for interpreters to ensure clear communication.
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members to the facility and the qualification process.
• Backup for the Hiring team; perform other duties as assigned.
