Job summary

ExtraHop is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to join the Digital Support and Education team in the United States. You will design and develop technical training materials to support implementation, use, administration, and support of our technology.

You will create tutorial videos, apply instructional design best practices, collaborate with SMEs, and deploy courses in the learning management system.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent; adult education background preferred.
• Experience designing instructional content for complex topics and self-paced learning for external audiences.
• Three years of hands-on video development/motion design using Adobe After Effects or similar programs.
• Three years of experience with Adobe Creative tools (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition).
• Three years of experience with authoring tools (Storyline, Captivate, etc.).
• Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop tutorial and explainer videos using multimedia assets such as screen captures, motion graphics, animations, and voiceovers.
• Apply learning theory and instructional design best practices to produce course design documents and video scripts.
• Collaborate with SMEs across ExtraHop to identify knowledge gaps and address training needs.
• Conduct independent topic research using internal and external resources.
• Create and deploy courses within the learning management system.
• Conduct QA reviews of new and revised courses and assessments.
• Update aging assets to align with current product versions.
