Qualifications

• Background in instructional design or learning design.
• Experience creating inclusive content for diverse learners.
• Teaching experience in higher education preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in Social Science fields such as Psychology, Political Science, or History.

Responsibilities

• Inform and update author content and pedagogy with learning theory and currency.
• Serve as student-journey and discipline-level learning design expert with cross-functional collaborators.
• Review content against strategy and quality standards for alignment and consistency.
• Design digital content to fill gaps based on platform functionality and user experience insights.
• Advocate for improvements in accessibility, equity, and inclusivity in content and authoring.
• Collaborate with authors/SMEs/industry partners and team members throughout curriculum development.
• Establish and maintain field tools and guidelines for content creation.
• Support freelance and vendor content creators to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Apply emerging learning trends and guidelines to continuously improve learning designs.
