Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking Learning Managers to drive content strategy for higher education materials. You will apply learning science, design digital content, and collaborate with editorial, strategy, marketing, authors, and vendors to align with customers’ needs and Cengage’s vision.

Qualifications

3-5 years of full-time work experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Experience with learning design and instructional design in higher education.

Responsibilities

Inform and update author content and pedagogy with learning theory and currency.
Serve as the student journey and learning design expert, collaborating across editorial, strategy, marketing, authoring and content creation.
Review content against strategy, quality standards, research insights, and established protocols to ensure alignment and consistency.
Design digital content to close gaps and improve learning based on platform functionality and usage data.
Advance accessibility, equity, and inclusivity in content and authoring.
