Job summary

Cengage Group seeks a Learning Manager-focused professional to design and review higher education materials. You will support authors, align content with customer needs, and collaborate across editorial, strategy, and production teams.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of full-time work experience, solid instructional design background, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI-enabled tools. A remote/hybrid work environment is common.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-time work experience, preferably with experience in a corporate environment.
• Educational or professional background in instructional design, learning design, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and file-sharing tools; experience with applied AI.

Responsibilities

• Share information, assess, plan, design, and review higher education materials.
• Support new authors to ensure content aligns with customers’ needs and Cengage’s strategic vision.
• Inform and/or update author content and pedagogy with universal and portfolio-specific perspective based in learning theory, currency, and career readiness.
• Collaborate with colleagues in editorial, business strategy, marketing, authoring and content creation, and production to implement improvements.
