Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead a team of CI professionals, shaping strategy through Hoshin Kanri and driving value across the organization. This remote role requires up to 75% travel and collaboration with senior executives.

You will use Value Stream Mapping, lead change efforts, mentor staff, and train in Hubbell Manufacturing System while managing a portfolio of improvement projects aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations/industrial/manufacturing/engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years in Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma.
• Minimum of 4 years in a technical leadership role with strong management skills.
• Experience in implementing continuous improvements and improvement systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hoshin Kanri strategic planning and alignment process at segment level; develop A3 charters.
• Utilize Value Stream Mapping to identify major reorganizations of business, logistics and manufacturing processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of CI experts, including mentoring and development.
• Serve as a Lean Trainer in Hubbell Manufacturing System and Lean Certification program.
• Oversee analysis of existing processes to identify improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Lead change management to embed improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior executives to secure resources.
• Partner with Plant Leadership to sustain HMS Performance Management program and Gemba walks.
• Use KPIs to evaluate initiative success and drive data-driven decisions.
• Manage a portfolio of improvement projects aligned to organizational goals.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures to improve products and services.
• Maintain records and documentation related to CI initiatives and outcomes.
