Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Senior Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support Safety, Quality, Manufacturing, Design, and Engineering teams in world-class facilities. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, organization, and broad engineering skills.

The candidate will lead process improvements, participate in Kaizen teams, and mentor technicians while collaborating across engineering disciplines to implement robust, cost-effective changes and documentation.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing support role.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD (Creo preferred) and manufacturing processes.
  • Certifications in SME Lean or related program are a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on manufacturing process improvements within areas of responsibility.
  • Lead weekly improvement meetings focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues escalated from supervision.
  • Implement countermeasures addressing root cause.
  • Perform cost analysis for design and process changes.
  • Lead Kaizen teams and Lean initiatives to improve metrics.
  • Mentor technicians, interns, and co-ops on projects.
  • Develop process change documentation including safety and quality.
  • Coordinate projects from justification to implementation.
