Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is actively seeking an Operations Manager to lead a Freehold, NJ manufacturing site. The role drives continuous improvement on a 24/7 basis, coaching supervisors and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.

Ideal candidates have a technical Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in manufacturing operations, with Lean/Six Sigma exposure and ERP proficiency. Competitive compensation with bonus potential and stock options is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus seven+ years of operations/manufacturing management experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, personal care, food or beverage manufacturing environments.
• Experience in FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience leading direct and indirect reports (100+ reports).
• Root cause analysis and corrective action experience.
• Experience overseeing 24/7 operations.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred.
• Budget management experience.
• ERP experience.
• MS Office (Word/Excel) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Directs 24/7 manufacturing operations to meet targets for safety, quality, throughput, reliability and cost.
• Leads Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement and daily management practices.
• Coaches supervisors and team leads; oversees hiring, onboarding, and qualification programs.
• Partners with maintenance, engineering, quality, planning and logistics to optimize site objectives.
• Manages budgets, labor planning and operating expenses; informs capital investments.
• Leads new product industrialization, equipment installations, validations and process commissioning.
