Job summary

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties in Carlisle, PA is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Residential Services to lead the residential (I/DD) group homes. This role provides professional leadership, training, and strategic direction for assigned programs and ensures regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree with 5–7 years in I/DD supervisory roles, and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of experience in I/DD with supervisory/administrative roles.
• Excellent communication, creative problem solving, and servant leadership.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for assigned residential programs.
• Offer orientation training and ongoing mentorship to team members.
• Support growth and development of Program Specialists through evaluation and goal setting.
• Assist the Director of Residential Services in developing departmental goals and policies.
• Ensure DHS and applicable regulations are followed and perform annual self-licensing inspections.
• Review assessments and coordinate admission plans with the Director and Program Specialists.
• Reconcile/Review bi-monthly financial transactions (BCAs) and enforce cash account policies.
• Assist in annual budget development and monitor expenses monthly.
• Collaborate with the team on clinical decisions by evaluating Treatment Team outcomes and plans.
