Job summary

Alcoa is seeking a Green Mill / Ring Furnace Superintendent at Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana. You will lead daily furnace operations, uphold safety, and drive production excellence while guiding six supervisors and coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams. The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

You will operate on a 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Green Mill and Ring Furnace ops to meet safety, production, quality, cost, and customer requirements.
• Build a strong safety culture with visible field leadership and hazard identification.
• Coach and develop six frontline supervisors and engage the hourly workforce.
• Plan staffing, equipment, materials, and resources across multiple shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring performance and implementing actions.
• Prioritize repairs and coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance and Engineering.
