Job summary

Alcoa is seeking a Mold Line Supervisor at Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana. You will lead a frontline team of about 16 employees across two production lines and the lab, driving safety, productivity, and continuous improvement in a heavy industrial, union setting.

You will partner with maintenance, planning, quality, and engineering to support operational performance while managing day-to-day execution and building a culture of safe, reliable work practices.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Strong safety orientation with ability to reinforce procedures.
• Excellent communication, conflict-resolution and employee engagement skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and continuous-improvement abilities.
• Proficient with computer tools including Microsoft Office.
• Able to work a rotating DuPont schedule and maintain floor presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and health performance of the crew, identify risks and reinforce procedures.
• Set daily priorities aligned with department and Warrick Operations objectives.
• Coach and engage employees on standard operating practices and performance expectations.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with cross-functional partners to restore performance.
• Develop and implement practical process and work-practice improvements.
• Complete frontline leadership administrative responsibilities while maintaining floor presence.
