Job summary

Alcoa is seeking an Anode Assembly Superintendent at Warrick Operations in Newburgh, IN to lead daily operations, ensure safety, drive quality, and manage costs. You will supervise five frontline supervisors and coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to maintain equipment reliability across shifts.

The role follows a 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility for off-shift needs and acting Carbon Manager duties when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Anode Assembly operations to meet safety, production, quality, cost and customer requirements.
• Build a safety culture through visible leadership, inspections, and accountability across shifts.
• Coach and develop five frontline supervisors and engage hourly workforce.
