Job summary

Alcoa Corporation in Newburgh, Indiana seeks an HVAC/Facilities Supervisor to lead a small maintenance crew responsible for preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency work across Warrick Smelter. You will schedule daily activities, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure safe, efficient operations on day shift with potential overtime.

The role emphasizes hands‑on HVAC knowledge, leadership in an industrial setting, and collaboration with production, planning, and engineering

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance experience with ability to troubleshoot and support repair of commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Maintenance or facilities leadership experience, prioritizing workloads and guiding a small team.
• Experience leading pre-job safety reviews and responding to breakdowns in an industrial setting.
• Working knowledge of CMMS tools and general computer applications including Microsoft Office for scheduling and documenting work.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily start-up of the crew and set priorities for preventive maintenance and service calls across the plant.
• Coordinate inspection, troubleshooting, service, and repair of HVAC equipment serving production areas and offices.
• Provide technical direction during equipment failures and emergencies; collect information for analysis and escalate urgent work.
• Lead safety pre-job reviews and promote safe, inclusive, collaborative work practices.
• Document work plans and execution in the CMMS; coordinate with production, maintenance planners, and engineers.
