Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to advance the firm's environmental data management capabilities across ESG programs. The role focuses on establishing defensible workflows, governance, and analytics support with EQuIS, Power BI, and related tools to improve project delivery and data integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. 7 years of related experience.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Data Science, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Discipline Leadership: provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
Data Governance and Standards: develop and maintain data governance frameworks and SOPs.
EQuIS Platform Leadership: lead for EQuIS-based data management, including database strategy and data loading.
Data Validation and QA/QC Workflows: develop defensible validation and QA/QC workflows.
Training and Staff Development: build and mentor a sustainable cohort of environmental data managers.
