Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to advance environmental data capabilities across ESG programs. This role will standardize workflows, improve data validation, and guide the use of EQuIS with reporting and analytics tools.

The position requires leading a national practice, mentoring staff, and coordinating with GIS, IT, and project teams to ensure defensible data delivery and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years in environmental data management.
• Experience leading data management programs across multiple projects.
• Familiarity with regulatory data requirements and QA/QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
• Develop and enforce data governance frameworks and SOPs.
• Lead EQuIS-based data management strategy including data loading and validation.
• Drive defensible data validation workflows and QA/QC strategies.
• Support project startup and align data workflows with SAP/QAPP requirements.
• Collaborate with analytics, GIS, and IT teams to integrate validated data into dashboards.
